We Do Not Collect Personal Information

ClapSeek does not collect any personal information. Users are not required to create an account or log in to access the app's core features.

Microphone Permission

To enable core functionality (e.g., detecting claps or whistles to help locate your phone), the app requires access to your microphone.

• Purpose of Microphone Access: To detect claps or whistles and trigger the phone-finding functionality.
• Data Handling: All sound processing occurs locally on your device. Audio data is not recorded, uploaded, or stored on any server.
• Your Control: You can disable microphone access via your device settings. Disabling this permission may prevent the core feature from functioning.

Camera (Flashlight) Permission

ClapSeek requires limited access to your camera hardware for flashlight control. The app does not use the camera for capturing photos or videos.

• Purpose: To turn on the flashlight as a visual signal when locating your phone.
• Data Handling: No camera images or videos are captured or transmitted.
• Your Control: You can disable this permission in iOS or Android system settings.

Subscriptions and Payments

If you choose to subscribe to premium features (such as removing ads or unlocking additional functionality), the purchase process will be handled through the official app store:

• On Android: Purchases are processed by Google Play.
• On iOS: Purchases are processed by Apple App Store (In-App Purchase).

We do not collect or store any payment or personal billing information. All transactions are managed securely by Google or Apple according to their respective policies.

Advertising Services

The app displays ads provided by third-party networks to support free usage. These partners may collect anonymous identifiers (such as advertising IDs) for ad performance and personalization in compliance with platform policies.

• For iOS users: You can manage personalized ad settings in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising and control App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permissions.
